Military Leadership

The University of Wisconsin-欧克莱尔's military leadership minor will 准备 you for the responsibilities and demands of a military leadership position. Courses in the military leadership minor are a mix of lecture, lab and physical training. Lecture courses encompass a variety of leadership topics, with a special focus on building critical skills in problem-solving, cultural awareness, communication and mentoring. Lab activities provide an engaging and realistic application of lessons learned in lecture while building on your knowledge of field craft and army fundamentals. Students improve muscular strength, endurance and cardio-respiratory capacity during rigorous physical training courses, which include strength and aerobic exercises, water confidence training, 长跑, military drills and team sports.

Housed in the College of Business, the military leadership minor is an excellent choice for those wishing to commit to contract as a cadet, which requires service to the active Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard after graduation.

The military leadership minor curriculum will help you build your knowledge of army fundamentals while enhancing your skills in four core areas: leadership, 任务命令, operations and training.
